About Marit / Events

Marit was born in the Netherlands and moved to the UK in 1983.  She came from a creative family with her dad being an art teacher and her mum working with fabrics.  She benefited from their input and influence during her childhood.  Her father passed away in 2018 and left her his collection of coloured pencils.  She started drawing and has been doing it ever since.  She loves colour and feels inspired by everyday life and the environment around her.  She lives in Cricklade with her husband and airdale.
